From what I can tell, Oak is only popular in the Broadway community whereas, Mandy has been on television and has a fandom outside of the broadway community. It was a terrible strategy, but now they have tok keep rolling with it. Besides, this was an issue when they marketed with Josh Groban's name to begin with. Yeah, it hurts that Oak has to step out, but it's not like TGC's diversity is going to disappear overnight. On top of that, you're taking away from the entire cast of the Great Comet, including Deneé and the rest of the ALREADY DIVERSE CAST. By doing shit like that, they're not just going to magically bring Oak back ? That's not how this works. They were already losing money before, and you wanna know why that was such an issue? It's because when a Broadway musical loses money and ticket sales, it closes. Let me address what's going on: 1.) WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT THAT TAKING AWAY "MONEY" FROM THE SHOW WAS A GOOD IDEA TO "SHOW THESE MOTHERFUCKERS" EXCUSE ME. Aside from his general do good personality, Tilde getting the Blue Rash becomes his driving force for this mission. From Tilde noticing Eggsy's sadness at the loss of Harry, to Eggsy's unwillingness to sleep with someone to save the world without asking her first. And TGC tries really hard to show us that emotional connection they have, without forcing flashbacks or exposition on why they continued seeing each after that night. They sleep together, but then end up building a real relationship off screen between the films. Seriously, who thought she was even going to get a mention in the next film?! We all probably walked out of the theater, possibly forgetting about her, thinking that was just a one time thing that was going to go away, and there was gonna be a different girl in the next film. And it works well and was so pleasing to see because we expected the trope from the ending of the first film. Eggsy being with Tilde completely subverts the Bond Girl trope.
